Burning oil once warmed up... Your opinion please Post Hydro lock

So I just experienced Hydro lock in cylinder 8 on my 05.5 S4. The injector was bad and dumped a un imaginable amount of fuel into the cylinder. The car initially started stalling out at highway speed. I pulled into the shoulder and was able to sputter off the highway. It finally stalled out and I thought it ran out of gas. When I tried to restart it I heard a loud bang. I assumed it was timing related. When I yanked the engine I noticed the starter was broken and a tooth on flywheel was missing. When I removed intake mani I then noticed about 2" of fuel on top of the closed valves. I then saw that all the timing components were ok. I reinstalled the engine after timing service and another starter broke. After being stumped for a hour I remembered the fuel in the intake port. I replaced injector on cyl 8 and the car started perfectly and idling great. After about 3 minutes of running I started to notice bank 2 was blowing bluish smoke. I turned off engine and unplugged cyl 8 coil. restarted it and smoke stopped. There is also a rapid clicking sound coming from cylinder 8 valves.

Whats your opinion on the damage and where do you think oil is coming from? No matter what the engine has to be pulled again. Im just hoping its valve damage and not piston/rod.... Has anyone ever experience this?

    Thanks

Did you pour a cap full of oil onto #8 ? The fuel more than likely washed out the rings. Pour a cap full of oil in the hole put the plug Back in crank with no spark or injector pulse so pull Ecu fuse let compression force oil back into your rings. After 6-10 cycles pit Ecu fuse back in fire it up. It will smoke while it burns excess oil off after should be good.

I have had to do this many times inn engine that have hydro locked with fuel don't pull it again test compression/ leak down test before and after adding oil. My guess is fuel just washed out the rings.
