WTT Black Grille Trim for Chrome Trim

Hi

I just bought this grille for my A4. Looks sweet but I'm thinking I want chrome trim, at least on the outside ring if not the inner horizontals too. My stuff is brand new, yours just needs to not be cracked or scratched up. Pics!

Btw I'm just pointing at the trim pieces I want to trade, there is no damage whatsoever (well, I removed the S from the S4 badge cause I don't want to pose too hard lol)

I would just remove that whole badge and replace it with an "S-line" badge if I was you

I think the black optics grille looks perfect as is. Here is an example of a hybrid one: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...-Grille-Hybrid

OMG I forgot about this grille that I had!

To make this, I essentially needed 2 grilles and swapped the trim by unclipping the 100 clips holding it all in. It's a major chore but if you're up for it, it looks amazing.

Unfortunately it's not available, it went with the wreck and I kept my OEM black optics to sell.

I think I'm going to let my girl paint something on the s4 badge spot in enamel, take the "4" off and let her keep trying stuff until something looks appropriate when it's mounted on the grille.

I have the champagne looking A4 color, I think cuvee silver, and the all black grille is sweet but I think it looks sortve out of place; thanks for the link, that's the picture i saw when I googled a black with all chrome s4 grille. It's sweet.

To be honest I'm a little uncomfortable sending first unless there was something like a nominal cod that would be applied both ways to ensure the value of a piece is secured by an equal cash amount until both parts were completely transferred.

Also, thought of this after I posted the ad, I have the buck-tooth looking ecs grille coming off my car early next week (i replaced my damaged s-line grille with theirs with the ring mount molded on). If their outer chrome fits then I may just use that, I looked at the top through the engine bay today and it seems like it may fit. We will see though, and if not hopefully an arrangement could be made. Interested in trading the center chrome trim as well?

Does the S go right back on the black one you picked up? Also I'd be willing to send you $100 on top of the full trade, I am not sure how to remove the license plate holder I have in place currently.

No I destroyed the S completely in the removal. I have no intention of selling or trading that part of the grille though

Are you trying to trade grilles completely? I have no desire to do that, would've bought a platinum grey one instead of this; I want my black grille but with chrome trim. If you're down with that it is a distinct possibility we can trade trims.

Ok gotcha, hmmm - I'd wanna see what that would look like first before I can commit to that. I wasn't clear on what you were saying until now. Do you have any pics on hand or that you have researched that show what that may look like on my end - platinum grey with black chrome?

Ok, took off the weird looking Ecs rs grille and put on the s4 grille just to see how it looks all black. I like it. Decided to leave it like this for the moment being.

However, in the future I am willing to trade trim with anyone who will do both the inner and outer trim bits. Two days or two years, if you find this and want to swap just lmk.
