End of season in the North-East: When to raise coilover height

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
For the people with coilovers, when do you raise your ride height up for the end of the season? Before the snow or before it gets cold?
These adjustments can take some time and I'd rather have it done when its still bearable outside. Winter is coming.

I personally never raised it... an inch really doesn't make much of a difference. On top of that you'll need another alignment.

I'll usually raise mine when I put my winter wheels and tires on, early to mid December. I also adjust damping to the softest setting. Too many new potholes pop up in the winter, especially in NYC. And if it does snow and the streets aren't plowed, I don't want to be the one plowing them because I have to be at work. Besides that, the increased fender gap makes it easier to knock out the snow that can get stuck in the wheel well.
