Need full brake set for my RS7. Any suggestions where to buy besides the dealer?

I got quoted at the dealer and their pricing is quite steep. Looking at buying the parts myself and having my mechanic install them.

Getting the Hawk brake pads will save you a bit vs OEM and will also get you a bit better braking performance and less dust.

Otherwise there's no aftermarket company for the wavy rotors.

Looked into Fusion ceramic rotors but they don't have them made for RS7 yet. Uses standard steel calipers too.

After two A8s I am now ok with knowing that with 6 figure cars come some hefty maintenance. I had to put new brakes on my A8 this summer (about $2500 IIRC) knowing that I was going to be trading it in a couple months later (just got S6). But when you are taking summer road trips with the family, you don't mess around with brakes.

So yes, definitely go OEM and don't mess around with brakes.

After receiving a high quote from my dealer, I contacted the independent shop that sold me my APR software and they quoted OEM parts (brakes/rotors) but the labor bill was 1/2 the dealer's cost.
