Driver's window one touch auto up/down not working

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
The one touch up/down feature has stopped working on my driver's window. I've searched already and tried the "roll all the way down, hold, roll up, hold" method and that hasn't worked. I've checked VAG settings with the Carista app (not sure if that fully functions like a true vag cable). Any suggestions on why this is happening and how to fix? Window operates completely normal otherwise- no sounds, crunch etc.

Similar thing happened with me. Tried the "roll down, hold, roll up, hold" method too but didn't work either. Took it into Audi and was told the actual window switch 'board' itself is broken and the entire board needs to be replaced. I haven't opened it up myself to confirm (apparently only a 3 min process), just too lazy really, but open yours up to confirm.

If you need to replace yours too, I found the part here (cheapest):

Apparently b8's and b8.5's are the same.

Or if you absolutely must get oem, ecstuning sells it here:

    awesome, thanks!

So that leaves me with how do you remove the switch? Just looked and I didn't see anything intuitive. Also, what am I looking for that would be broken?

so I swapped out the switch, and unfortunately that did not fix the driver's window one touch not working. Any other ideas?

When doing the re-learn- dont hold the switch all the way down to the "one-touch" position. press it to the first "click" and go all the way down, and do the same going up- just to the first "click" you feel. Its hard to explain, but thats what I had to do to fix all 4 of mine once. I didnt have any codes either

Oh, and hold it for 5-10 seconds at the top and bottom after it reaches the limit each way
