There's literally not a single person running the SRM girdle, more than 2 years after release?

I will be running Rockcandy's girdle. He is in the process of finishing my motor(This is going in TiAL 770 car) so hopefully in few months the car will be on the road. I 100% trust him with building my motor and his product. He is also building me my 2.8 heads for my other S4 which will be having OEM RS6 turbos. Tuner for my car is going to be Jared at VLM Spec. Both people were picked from doing my due diligence and not because they were pick of the month.

I can personally attest to Marshall and Jared both being good people, and both are a good choice for the build

Keep this thread in mind, and report back like a month after making big power and after having romped on it for a while

I have put about 5,000 miles on my motor at around 700 whp. I run the car through the gears at least 15 times a week (usually much more than that). I went to the track in July to see where my trap speed was at (to confirm the power) and I guess since the track is much sticker than the street, I seemed to overpower my AMD stage 3+. I have't had any slippage issues on the street though, even when launching hard and running through the gears.

Here's a data point for you:

Miles on the engine at 700whp: 5,000
Power level (whp/wtq, please specify if actual dyno figures, calculated from logs, or estimated): 700whp, 600wtq (dyno in 3rd gear on a dynojet)
    Turbo(s): PTE6062 gen2
    Boost psi:30psi
    Fuel: E85
    Methanol Injection (Y/N): No
    Tuner: Philadot
Block Part Number (AE [early] or BF/BEL [late]): BF
    Engine Bore (2.7/2.8/3.0): Stock
    Main Caps (stock/billet, brand): Stock
    Fluidampr Crank Pulley (Y/N): No

Thank you. Both are great guys, honest and straightforward so it was no brainier. I am very lucky to have RedRocketS4 local to me as he is very knowledgeable and always helpful to make sure nothing dumb happens.

I will definitely update once we have everything sorted and we put fun miles on it.

Are you referring to the hibiscus GT car? That's the only one I can think of that had a girdle installed

I believe the owner of SMS, Jfonz, and the owner of the car had a falling out. Only picked up some pieces of what happened, but it lifted the fonz lifted the heads on a glory dyno pull awhile back, engine was rebuilt. Sat forever, owner said he felt that SMS was overcharging/doublecharging him for work and parts. So I believe now the car is being parted out. It's really a. Inner because I wanted to see that thing destroy everything. Was one of the fastest b5's in the states.

Correct. Had really high hopes for that car. Hopefully he keeps it and just has another place finish it for him.
