One of California's finest thought I was going to fast yesterday. So now I'm in need of a lead to a good lawyer in San Bernardino county. Since it's also in a commercial vehicle it might make it harder but I'd like to get it dismissed. It is also scheduled for court in Barstow, CA

I got a good traffic ticket lawyer, but he's based in LA and doubt he'll make the trek out to Barstow http://www.traffic-ticket-attorney.com/

However, i can probably get a referral for you in the Barstow area if you want...

No I am mad because I drive a truck that is limited to 65 mph. The exhaust brake comes on automatically 3.5 mph over what I set my cruise control at. So with my cruise control set at 59 mph the fastest I could've rolled down that hill is at 64 mph with an 11,000 pound load in the trailer. The entire 55 in California is a ridiculous law the guy on 60 Monday morning was most likely not doing anything more than that in traffic. But lo and behold somebody decided to drive his car into the trailer and kill themselves. In the eyes of everyone else it must've been the truck drivers fault.

If you're on your way out of the state, you need to be on the lookout for CHP - they love to camp out at the borders on the 8, 10, 40 and 15. Pretty unusual for them to hit anyone who's not doing more than 15 over though, but maybe commercial vehicles are a different ballgame.
