Compression Test Mode - deactivation of spark and fuel

    HI,
I need to do be able to cut off the ignition coils and fuel injectors from firing in order to do something similar to a compression test.
My question is this...Does VAGCOM have the ability to put the ECM into compression test mode, or can I achieve the same results by disconnecting the CKP sensor and then attempting to start the engine?
The spark plugs will be removed from the engine when doing this.

    Thanks for your input.
