I use the Wash Coat every 3rd or 4th time I wash the car, spray it on with the foam gun after the rinse while the car is still wet, let it sit for 2 or 3 minutes and rinse it off.
The rinse really makes the residual water bead up and makes drying it (I use the master blaster) really quick and easy.
As for SI3D, that requires professional installation, I've seen the cars Phil has installed it on and the shine really pops.
    Hope this helps.

I have coated a vehicle with the Nanolex Si3D and it turned out superb. The level of gloss and slickness is very impressive. The owner has since bought the wash coat and uses it about every third wash and loves it. Go to DetailersDomain and you can order it. Phil can answer any questions you may have about it.

It looks VERY easy to install - does it really increase gloss as you continue lightly buff w/a MF towel?

The gloss comes after, its just the application that is called for lightly going back and forth until it is almost completely gone. It is an easier product to install, but just like any other coating, you still have to look for high spots.

I will say this about the Si3D over the Cquartz - I can drop the Cquartz MF suede applicators in APC > wash > dry > reuse but with the Nanolex i dropped used applicators in APC and they were still stiff even after soaking for day so tossed them.
