    What springs is Audi's?

    Hi all.

When I got my 2013 Audi a5 coupe non S line, my car has the sport package (sport options which include alcantara sport seats, 19 inch wheels and it is lowered). So I asked a sales agent in my dealership what spring is my Audi A5 currently on as it looks lowered and is lowered compared to other A5. The sales agent told me that it is using Audi sport springs and the brand is Eibach.

Does Audi uses Eibach sport spring as their sport spring?

And I came across a local car shop and one of the customer recently swap out his Audi sport spring (which was also Eibach) to a H&R spring. This is the caption of the photo of the local workshop "Out Black Sport OEM and in H&R Sport Progressive Spring. Result is lowered center of gravity, improved stability and firmer control (without over bounciness)." So Audi really uses Eibach springs ey?

I am looking to swap to H&R too as my car ride feeels very bouncy whenever I go fast. Is it better to go for that H&R sport progressive spring?

this is the Eibach sport spring from Audi to the H&R

You'll like the H&R springs. Firmer through turns and body sits a bit lower as well. Don't forget to add the H&R hub-centric wheels spacers

Ya I am going to add a wheel spacer as well. However, is it necessary to do so?

basically you can adjust how how or low you want the car to be, and generally they ride better than just springs :)

its a complete suspension change with struts and springs matched to each other that at a minimum allows you to adjust height, at most you can adjust rebound dampening and everything just like a race car would. Some like the KW DDS basically adds the adaptive suspension like that from audi(KW's is better than Audis) and allows you to adjust height. I myself on my A4 have some cheap Solowerks S1 that get the job done for low cost, only $550 for the complete set. A high end one like the KW DDS can go for 4k-5k. I dont know what I will do with my S5 yet, im between an accuair sport kit or KW DDS since basically same cost.

It's not necessary but I like the slightly wider footprint in the handling. Also, makes the overall appearance more "aggressive"

yeah the wider stance looks so aggressive. I am aware that for the A5, people are using different size spacers like 15mm front and 20mm. correct me if Im wrong. I can't remember what the size is. But do stock audi make it different in size?

coils are nice but my a4 is too low lol. it's fwd so gets stuck in the snow and speedbumps suck and the roads here are filled with holes so notime good. that's why I was thinking of air, but coils tend to be better for track
