So I ordered Niche wheels and winter tires from local shop. Went to go pick them up and the wheels have two holes for two valve stems. Sales guy explained why, and a quick google search showed a few different reason why some manufactures make wheels this way. Problem is the shop utilized the outer most hole for the valve stem. Right away I thought that the valve steams would protrude out too far, and not clear the brake calipers. The stems aren't out on the outer perimeter of the wheel like most others I've seen. I had other car cause I was planning on just bringing wheels home to mount myself later in the year and after I apply some opticoat. No picture now sorry, I did not take wheels home. No planning on bringing S6 there tomorrow to have them take a look.
Sales guy eluded to concept of only using the inner most valve stem to clear the caliper, but this will be a massive hassle if I ever need to add a little air ie cranking wheel to left or right, rears would be a bigger hassle.
Has anyone ever run into this with aftermarket wheels? Niche wheels? Any feedback is welcome.
Thanks
