I bought an A5 specific trunk wing for my S5

Knowing the differences between the A5 trunk and the S5 trunk, I knew by theory, the carbon fiber A5 trunk spoilers werent going to fit as mentioned on majority of the spoilers listed on eBay. However, something inside me wanted to take the plunge and purchase one to see how it fits with my own eyes.

So Im able to sit the spoiler onto the top side trunk, however, the back side of the spoiler does not sit flush, but does make contact with the high center point of the duck bill and tapers away to eventually a finger gap at the far left and right sides of the trunk (see last photo).

I eventually plan to have a body shop trim the mounting surface of the wing so that the duck bill of the trunk can sit inside the hallowed out portion of the wing to sit nice and flush. But for now, I was able to mount it with double sided tape!

That doesn't look bad at all. Do you have any pics from the side? Is there a gap on the ends? I think a body shop wouldn't have a problem making that sit flush.

There is about a finger gap at the far right and left of the lip you cant see unless if u look under the wing
