    2.7t APB Tiptronic Piggies?

Can anyone point me in the direction of a DIY for piggies on an '01 A6 2.7t (APB) Tiptronic. I've read through a DIY on a BEL 6speed, and to my understanding removing the DP's on a tiptronic is significantly harder?

I'm currently rebuilding my engine with a converter swap. I removed the engine and I plan on hogging out my piggie pipes soon. From the looks of things, I think you need to drop the transmission ....in my case, engine is out. I think if I drop it 2 inches without removing the transmission, just lowering the subframe 2 inches, I can get them out. More to come on this as I'm in the process of rebuilding the engine, turbo right now. There is a thread on audizine & audiworld regarding making your own piggie pipes. You will need 2 spark plug defowlers for the O2 sensors and the thread shows one cutting the precat and then welding it up after you hog it out. I think I can hog mine out without cutting the pipe. More to come once I get all parts organized and set up for the rebuild.
