Is there a way to get rid of the dotted taillights on these cars? Amber turn signals

Not a fan of the outdated dots. Can we get a taillight with a smooth light and also an amber turn signal like in Europe? This is sort of what I mean, but would like to have amber signals.

I assume you are referring to a B8 as the B8.5s look like you are describing.

There are some aftermarket ones that you may like: https://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B8_S4...g/Tail_Lights/

That is probably not all of them but will give you a good idea.

I've seen facelift retrofits on B8 A4s also switched to ROW. I'm sure there are options for you if not exactly the same.

The avant taillights for a B8.5 are an exact fit into a B8.

For a sedan you would have to swap the trunk and bumper I think

I think best bet is going after market.

Ahh, I was following an S4 with the non-dotted lights and was wondering about it. They look much better than a bunch of dots. Thanks. I am in the market for an S4 2014 or newer, so maybe this won't apply. I do like the amber taillights, but I guess that isn't going to happen here in the US. Sorry for the newbie question.

No worries, B8.5s started in 2013. You can order Euro taillights for these that look really good.

Europrice offers a set that even has the "sweeping" blinkers.

Sorry for the lack of clarity.

The tailights for a B8 avant and B8.5 avant are an identical shape and can be interchanged fairly easily.

The taillights for a B8 sedan and b8.5 sedan are different shapes. The outside of the b8.5 will fit in a b8 but be a little short. The trunk part is different.

Thus if you wanted B8.5 tail lights on your B8 sedan it would require swapping the trunk and I believe the bumper.

Cool thanks for explaining. For the record it's because you originally said "headlights are the same" not taillights.

lol I read his post as "taillights". I had to go back and look again once you said that. Funny how the brain interprets things.
