    CPO- Question

    Hi All,

I ordered a K&N filter for my CPO'd 2015 Audi S6. As part of the CPO, they did the 25k service even though the car was only 24,010. Does anyone know if this does or should include an air filter change?

The reason I ask is because, was planning to take the like new paper filter and set aside so I could reinstall if I wanted. I was concerned when I saw leaves, pine straw and all sorts of other junk in the airbox alongside a dirty filter. I had to use my shop vac to suck out a solid 1/2 cup of debris. I have only driven the car 120 miles in the two weeks I have owned it. It makes me wonder what else has not been done as a part of the 25k service.

If the filter was not part of that service, well I am glad I caught it. If it was, I am wondering the best way to approach the dealership. It has CPO until 2021 and Audi Care so I am not all that worried. However, it they could not change a filter that took me 5 minutes to change, it makes me a little concerned.

    I appreciate any advice.

    Thank you!

I believe they did the 25k service because of time not mileage, might be milage though. CPO has nothing to do with your services, it's the fact that you have Audicare on the vehicle. I don't believe the air filter is covered under Audicare. You should be armed with this info before going in for service. I always make sure my SA is aware of everything that is supposed to be done and I check it myself after the service. See the pdf I linked.

I believe the air filter doesn't get replaced until 30,000 miles.
I have 6,000 miles on mine and when I went to replace the stock filter with a foam high flow filter, I found a lot of debris in the air box also. I don't even live in a wooded area. The air scoop does of good job of sucking in air and all kinds of other crap, apparently!

There is no 30k service. According to the pdf it would be 15 and 55 for the air cleaner.
