B8.5 HID bulbs...whats different between the 2 pictured below?

1 of my headlights was out. Bought a used set from a forum member. The new (to me) bulb is not nearly as bright as my other bulb.

Bulb on left is my old one, bulb on right is 1 of the new (to me) bulbs. Previous owner said they came off a s4 that had less than 10K miles b4 he upgraded.

    Thoughts?

The new bulb on the right is a 35w where the older bulb on the left is a 55w. Color temp could also be different making it not appear as bright as well.

I apologize you are right. After blowing the picture up I do see that they are the same wattage.

Yeah I see that now. The black label and my old eyes threw me off. Lol. Thanks.

Most likely, one came from a B8 and one from a B8.5. Same type of bulb, but slightly different temp.
