    New wiper blades

Like others have complained about with the 8V, my stock wiper blades sucked! When I had my MK6 GTI, I use to buy the Bosch Aerotwins from Amazon. They don't make those for the 8V yet so I had to go another route. I bought the Bosch Icons 26OE, 19OE. You have to install the #4 adapter and they slide right on. I did notice these Icons are made in China now and not in Belgium like the other Icons I bought in the past. The terrible stock blades are made in Hungary. I hope these perform as good the other Icons I have used.

I had my wiper blades changed by the dealer twice and I still get some jumping. Let me know how this goes, might have to go that route as well.

I had that experience as well. What I learned after a year of wiper suffering is that the OEM wipers are extremely sensitive to wax on the windshield. After polishing the windshield with polishing compounds, there is no more chatter. I am still using the original set of wipers and they are already 2 years old! No chattering!

The sealant is the problem. If you remove the sealant from the windshield, your wipers will stop chattering.

I used them yesterday and they are really quiet. Napa has them for $10 off a pair right now.

I replaced the originals with new wipers from Audi. They had the same chatter as the originals. I too, replaced these with Tricos and problem solved.
