saxon's s6 thread- unitronic results

Thought i would create an actual post as i plan to do some more mods to this car and figured one post would be an easier to way to keep track of the results

first runs at the track last night, completely stock 2014 including 20k mile tires with unitronic stage 1+

no weight reduction ect, used launch control and in comfort suspension for 2 runs, dynamic for the slower run

with some good tires this would easily be an 11.4 run since i mostly spun in 1st gear , next week i will be doing the stage 2 downpipes and stage 2 tcu tune and going back hoping to run low 11's on pump and high 10's on race gas

fyi the DA was between 0 and +300 for the three runs and the track was Numidia Dragway in Numidia PA

thanks, i have had many different tunes on cars in the past couple of years and honestly with the results on my s3 it was a no brainer to go with them on the s6

11.4 should be pretty easy, with a tcu tune with a lowered launch probably 11.2 or 11.3

Im not running a race fuel tune, running 93 on their 1+ tune.

I will be running race gas on their stage 2 though at some point

Thanks that's really useful. Been quoted around £1000 for downpipes and race cats. Great price for going stage 2.

Yes it is. $3k for catted downpipes from APR or AMS is incredibly steep for such a small portion of the exhaust. At that rate, feels like we're modding a Lambo or something far more exotic.

Nice run! How the heck did your buddy squeeze 400whp out of an S2000? Obviously supercharged from the video..Beating a car with that much power that weighs that little (2800lbs) is no easy feat. I'm sure he wasn't too thrilled!

installed a magnaflow exhaust today for a little more sound

i installed it myself in my driveway in about 2 hours, it took about an hour just to get the tips where i was happy
