I have 1996 Audi a4 quattro. I finished changing my clutch out and now my cars heater won't work. I took out the blower motor and took a look at the heater core and i don't see any coolant in the housing. when i put my hand on the heater core itself when the car is operating temperature and i feel no heat at all. I also felt both the hoses going into the heater core and both of them felt warm. Is it possible for the Heater core to just fail? Is there anything i should test for?
    Any ideas?

There may be a bubble in the system. Sound like there's a blockage going into the heater core

Back flush the heater core using a pump and two hoses. Clears the blockage out of the heater core.

Just put a water house on the outlet pipe and should unclog it, the air in the heater core usually is gone away after 30 min of driving and I don't think there is a procedure for bleeding it it just hose away lol good luck
