Clutch dropped to floor and wont return -- b8.5 s4

Bought the car a couple months ago with 18,xxx miles. PPI indicated that the pads had tons of life left (green)

Couple days ago my BRAKE warning light comes on and i figured it was a sensor unplugged or something. Fast forward to that same night, I'm leaving the house and feel the pressure of the clutch is way off. Needless to say the pedal dropped to the floor and i could no longer engage a gear.

Im thinking now that my BRAKE warning light may have come on because of a leak in either the master or slave cylinder? as the fluid level decreased my clutch slowly stopped engaging?

anyone dealt with this issue? clutch showed ZERO signs of giving way, no slipping or anything.

Car is EPL Stage 1 for the last 5k miles

    thanks guys

Yes a leak probably slave you can more than likely add fluid and bleed pump it back up and find the leak.
