awd transmission into a fwd car

Hi guys I had a question and hopefully someone here knows the answer. I have a fwd Passat with a 2.7t swap into it. I was looking into putting a b5 s4 transmission into it because of the lsd in the transmission. I know the tranny bolts up directly but what would I do about the rear output shaft? Will it just work or do I have to change something. thanks

I would say keep the stock trans. There's someone here who's made the O1E FWD though.

Post pics and vids. I love the B5.5's. It's my favorite car.

The 01E doesn't have an LSD, nor will it work without welding the center diff

Do it if you want all your power to go to the open rear output flange.

Lol zba. That's all wrong. Welding only the pinion to the ring gear isn't enough. You have to weld all those roller bearings to their cages as well.
