Oil Level

So last time the Tech put in 5W30 and my oil was burning weekly now i got an oil change they put in 5W40 and my oil is somewhat back to normal i guess. Is it because summers over? Lol what are your thoughts?

I had the oil consumption problem. audi extended the warranty. get it check out at the dealership. you want to tell them you are burning oil and that you are adding a quart every (how ever many thousand miles). its a two part test and should be covered with the warranty extension. mine had the problem and the solution was to replace the pistons, all covered. haven't had an oil issue since.
