Sexy S6 on All new 21" Vossen VPS 307T // TAG Motorsports
Recently a client just up north of us spotted some projects of ours and appreciated the work that we are doing. He was looking for a reputable place to take the S6 that he had ordered just a few months back. We are certainly glad he chose us to take care of this build. It is one of the best looking cars that we have put together. After a few color samples, and some decision making on the proper wheel parts were ordered.
The car was delivered to us via our friends at JP Logistics on a Monday afternoon. We got right to work. Beginning with removing the factory brake calipers to give them a proper makeover in the always beautiful Porsche Speed Yellow. We also take to to re-install the S6 logo back to the caliper to keep the integrity, and the OEM look.
To finish off that wheel well properly, we decided on the all new Vossen Forged VPS (Vossen Precision series) 307T in 21". In the satin black, it truly sets the car off. 21" wheels fit the C7 platforms perfectly. Vossen is really taking the wheel industry by storm with these new designs. Their "Infinity Lip" designs give the wheels such depth, and make them appear much larger than their true size. TO add a finishing touch, we color matched the Vossen "V" logo in the center cap to match the calipers. And dinally, to close the gap an H and R lowering Module was utilized.
Come Friday of that week it was time to wrap her up and get her off to her new owner. The final piece of the puzzle was to open up that V8 and let it sing the way it was supposed to. We are huge fans of the AWE Touring system for this car, it just sounds fantastic. Furthermore, it does not break the bank like many systems on the market. After the install was complete, we ran a couple of test drives to ensure that all was in perfect running order. A quick call to the transport, and a few hours later the client had keys in hand, and a smile on his face.
