    Hello,


    my name is Kamil from Germany and i have a '2011 S4 6MT with APR Stage 1 v2.2. The car runs very well. I installed the tune at 28k km, now with 80k km and zero issues.

    I have seen there is a new Version v3.1 available for Stage 1.

    Is it worth to update respectively is there a noticeable increase in power ?

    I went from Stage II v2.? to Stage III v3.? and it was a noticeable change. At least that is what it felt like to me. Worth the cost to pay the authorized dealer IMO

    Updating to the latest ecu/tcu software is going to be an improvement

    Yes v3.1 is a massive improvement over v2, particularly the pump file. It is a free upgrade, probably just have to pay the flash labor fee at your shop

    Yes the Last update will be a nice improvement.
    Especially with your german high quality fuels( I am jealous. ..) like shell V power 100 or bp 102 as timing tables were set Very agressive.

    Keep in mind that most of the Audizine forum is USA based so we cant say what difference your update will make because we have different calibrations on the USA cars but generally when APR offers an update it is worthwhile to get it. You may want to give APR an email or PM though just to find out what the update entails. They can tell you with certainty

    I'm on v3.0 since Saturday and I like it. It feels smoother and more refined. In der lower rpms it feels slightly stronger.

    Overall its worth it.

    By the way, cold start feature is turned on.

    Yes! Go get it, you'll be happy you did. Maybe get a pulley too while you're at it. :)

    v3.1 was Stage 2 only i think.

    Is there a way to tell what version tune you have? I guess it would likely depend on the release date of the update and when you got flashed I guess. I was flashed in August and don't know what version I received.

    My apr dealer always indicated the version+maps flashed on all receipts/work orders I have from them.

    I'm on Stage 2 v3.0 Sean (as of June 2015) is there now a newer version, v3.1 maybe reading this thread and if so what are the gains over v3.0 mate
