After much research I have ruled out springs and will go with coilovers. I had my heart set on H&Rs however with the issue people are having with the rears sitting too low and not being able to be adjusted higher I was thinking Vogtland. Any other suggestions? Talk my in or out of them.

I had Vogtland on my B7 and loved them. Great ride height, great ride quality--closer to stock comfort but lowered down. I say "had" because the car was totaled, not because I got rid of them.

I have H&R Street Performance Coils. I'm sitting low, but not slammed by any means. Level on all four corners at 25.25" ftg. I have room to go up or down all around, but definitely more upward adjustment (especially on the rears). I think the rear sagging issues you are referring to are with the KW kits, and have been solved by ordering the Avant rear springs if a KW kit is what you're after. I would highly recommend H&R's for a lower cost coilover though. Best ride I personally have ever experienced in a lowered vehicle. Very comfortable cruising, but nice tight flat cornering.

I appreciate your input as I have these coils sitting in my garage lol. And yes I do believe it is the ST's that sag in the rear...

I went with the KW DDC which are a V3 with electronic dampening control. Worst decision I have made... If I had to do it again I would have gone with the PSS10s or Ohllins

I have had Vogtlands on my car for over a year now with no complaints. There is plenty of room for height adjustment. Much more then they specify. The only thing I would change is that I would ordered the set for the avant which has a slightly stiffer rear spring. The springs in the rear are a little soft for the sedan but still do a good job. As long as you're not hauling a good amount of weight in the trunk the sedan springs hold up just fine. My car sits at just under 26" GTF and the only time my rear rubs is when going over rather large dips.

For the money I think they are great CO's.

My vote would be for KW or coil over that meets TÜV standards

KW's are good stuff. I haven't seen the clubsport line for B8 fitment, but those are awesome for street/track. V3 work too.

^^This. The concept of these is much better than the execution. The rear springs are way too soft. I have mine set one half turn from the highest setting and I can't get a finger between the tire and body in the rear. The ECU seems to be overheating. It's extremely hot to the touch even though none of the other electronics near it are even warm. I'm seriously considering a change to PSS10s.

Completely agree regarding the rear. I got the suspension after going stage 2 because I was getting way too much squat coming under hard accel, and still get it with these, albeit not as pronounced. I will eventually make the switch, just really frustrating and holy hell the install time/cost

    PSS10 GROUP BUY!!! lol
