    Paddle Shifters

On a roll here, it may just be me with my short sausage fingers but does anyone else find the paddle shifters not quite big enough. They are better than the old generation ones but thinking of paddle extensions as I did last time.

Anyone used these or have recommendations? Otherwise I may have to call on my friends at Argon Creative to custom make a set for me.

I had an m5 and loved how much bigger they were. I cannot find ones that fit an s7 with the aluminum. There are plenty for a7s and plastic on ebay.

I bought aluminum ones for my car. I have large hands but wanted to be able to change gears in a broader area of the wheel. they fit that purpose but they do create other concerns.
    1. They obscure some the the stalks to the left and right of the wheel.
    2. They have a gap that is comfortable for grabbing the wheel anywhere but it does place the extenders closer to the stalks which I don't love.

All in all, I have left them on for the time being even though I don't love the way they look. Yes, they are nicely finished aluminum but don't seem at home on my car.

    The jury is still out.

    Here they are-

That's why I have carbon fibre ones fabricated for my last car as they were thinner, lighter and stronger and did not obscure or knock any of the other controls

Looks like I may have to have the same done again for this one albeit the shape of the current paddles is not ideal or flowing to add extensions to. I'll buy some spare OEM paddles for them to design around.

I did some cheap AL ones from Ebay. After function not form on this one and they work well. There is a slight flex if you grab them at the very top, but that's a result of the mounting tape not the extension. For me the stock paddles stunk and were pretty much useless.

    Paddle Shifters

S7 is stronic so I gather they are the squarer paddles? Not sure as I've not seen them. If they are the paddle extenders I have pictured above would fit if anyone wants them.

If they are the same as those on the 7.5 RS then I have just bought a spare set of paddles for Argon Creative to make some paddles for me from scratch if anyone is interested.
