My apologies in advance if this has been covered to death however seeking advice. As awesome as the RS7 is I can't but help feel the choice of tyres for it is woeful.

So it runs standard on 275/30/21, what are people running on tyre size wise? Was looking at 285/30/21 which is 0.7% bigger rolling radius but importantly would give me access to Michelin PSS's. They are my normal mainstay along with Goodyear F1 Assymetric 3's for all my previous S and RS cars but unfortunately don't come in the size needed this time.

Contis are Ok but not great, Pirellis for me are too soft, no experience of Dunlops.

So what are people running and what size?

Cheers, I had seen this but TBH 295's on OEM wheels seems excessive, it's 20mm wider which would normally entail a wider rim by 1/2 inch.

If you see something you like in 285/30, then go 285/30.

That's the sweet spot for me, hopefully im going for just that in few weeks, OP if you are not sure you can always try the size you want to check for fitment issues that's what I usually do at the shop ( they hate me over there :P ).

I was hoping to get the advice online as a lot of tyres shops here in the UK don't stock the size, they have to order in. I also have to consider the crap I get from Audi for having non OE tyres as they have blamed everything from premature bearing wear to diff whine on running larger tyres.

OP, there wont be fitment issues with that size, I think that's why they posted the "295" thread above. If you want Michelin PSS then order the 285/30, mount them, smile, carry on with life.
