If you don't care about losing your fog lights I think 2 would be a really slick look

Problem is the original grill. The round housing is connected to the frame of the grill on the top so cutting it out would leave bad looking edge . On the bottom thats not a problem

    Fog light grill mod

A while back I saw another thread somewhere with a well done DIY for this mod...it may have been in the A4/S4 forum. I'll check around and see if I can find it. Found it...

I would just add the mesh to the large opening (trimming out the center piece and call it a day.

I like it. I may even try this with my lowers since they will better compliment my RS grill.

Some day time photos. I need to glue them in and that the zip tie off . Grill is next on my list but im really tempted to do a DIY conversion , how hard can it be ! Lol considering the sheet of honeycomb is £15-20...

Can you post where you got that honeycomb from? Looks decent and I'd be willing to try this too as a fun winter-time mod.

As for the center grill.... Are you planning on cutting away the existing grill? Wouldn't that leave holes in the chrome everywhere you cut a bar off from? And another concern might be that the bars and grill are hollow leaving actual holes behind when you cut off the bars... bit too risky there for me.

Actually Sin, I was going to suggest it as your next mod when you showed me the head-on pic of your "Quattro" mod...

Seeing this, I am going to order a sheet of the mesh when I get back from my trip.

My parts pimp, @Afone, is at it again!

I can't find a sheet bigger than that anywhere online so the DIY method for a full C6 grill won't work, only a C5

Hey buddy so the process was, cut out the same shape piece of honeycomb grille and just glue it to the back of the frame?

Looks great. Is that silver piece in your lower bumper the Audi OEM add-on? Looks good.

    Thanx AFONE.

No, it is standard piece in the bumper just plasti dipped in Silver.
Did same with mirrors, audi ring front/rear badge’s, A6 rear badge and rear bumper diffusor.

Picture after full chrome delete but no longer there. Only door chrome trims left plasti dipped black matte.
