Does anyone know if RS 6 parts ( steering wheel, grille, mirrors, etc) will fit my 2001 Audi A6 C5

    Some yes, and some won't.
    Steering wheel, mirrors yes.

    Grills, no.

rs6 is a widebody car (as is 4.2 c5 a6), if yours is a narrowbody, even less stuff is shared.

    this is what it takes.

You might find it easier to sell your c5 and simply buy an rs6

I bought Steve's car about three years ago. It now lives in the Denver area. Needs a clutch now but it's been running great. They did a ton of work on it, and I agree that it would be easier to put a manual in an rs6, but I love it and plan on keeping it for good.

I turned my A6 4.2 into a RS6 minus the Engine and a couple things.

It was fun, but not penny wise!

Thanks! I am really happy with it. (My wife... not so much) Any time your down south of Denver stop by!

I had to remove the push button ignition and order a key tumbler from Audi. That was my only concern when I bought the car as I felt that if it failed, I was SOL. Fortunately it failed in my garage. After removing the aftermarket brain though, my stereo won't power on. So I'm a clutch repair and stereo fix from perfect again. Or as close as a 12 year old 2.7 C5 can be. ie: "What was THAT noise and how much is this gonna cost..."
