I've got the itch to start playing around with audio stuff again and wanted to gauge interest in my current setup. Looking to get $1200 for everything.

Here's what would be included:
- RNS-E (MK2), 193B security code is included
- 2015/2016 North America Map DVDs
- SiriusXM receiver 8E0 035 493 E
- Audi Bluetooth Phone Interface 8P0 862 335 T with BT antenna and microphone (OEM)
- Audi AMI 8P0 057 785 with Apple dock connector, USB connector (for external HD or USB stick), and 3.5mm AUX cable
- GPS antenna
- Complete wiring harness (RNS-E->BT->AMI->Car)

Do you know how much different the updated mk2 RNS-E is from the first gen? I know the resolution is better...I had considered doing the upgrade as I am currently doing an Apple TV/VIM in my RS4

Yeah, the screen resolution is leaps and bounds better than the Mk1. You also get:
- Faster processor (everything is a lot more snappy, nav calculates faster, etc)
- SDHC support (Mk1 accepts 4gb SD cards, the Mk2 accepts 32gb cards)
- Support for AMI (full integration of iPod/iPhone, USB drives/sticks, and 3.5mm AUX)

Not really, I got a Kufatec VIM module, and running an HDMI to composite adapter, and wiring in a power inverter to power the Apple TV.
