    HELP: CD Error 3

    Hi all,

I was cruising down the road and listening to some of my favorite tunes via Bluetooth and all of a sudden the CD changer decided to load a CD unexpectedly. The thing has a mind of its own sometimes. Anyways, I pulled over to check what was going on with the radio and now I have this "CD Error 3" displayed on my radio.

I recently did a quick read on how this can be fixed and many people bought new units or just had some luck when removing. Does anyone have any DIY guides on removing jammed CDs?

    Thanks in advance!
    Cos

Welcome to the club. I have had the same CDs in through summer. Once it gets cold outside again I should be able to eject them. Here in Florida the belts get too soft and slip in there.

    HELP: CD Error 3

I have the same issue, I should really open it up and take it out, but I don't use cds anyways lol

Lol edit: I tried it this morning since the radio was cold, came right out so apparently it just can't be hot, anyway to open it up and prevent that from happening? Maybe grooving the belts? Mine sounded like it didn't want to "grab" the cd and spit it out. It also just barely came out and I had to pull it out hen it spit it out half way, so is it dealing with the eject mechanism not working properly?
