Any interest in a used RA4 flywheel and S4 clutch with 2mi of use??

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
As the above title says. I have a RA4 flywheel, clutch alignment tool, maybe flywheel bolts, and a S4 clutch (LUK brand) with 2mi of use on it.
I am not sure what a good asking price is. Reved super damn quick with it. Shifts at speed were way faster. I removed because I think the flywheel needs machining? Can't really remember it has been so long. I do know I have step height information for the flywheel I got from ECS Tuning a while back. Machine shop needed it and I have since forgotten to take it back to them. So I don't want it. It has been sitting for more than a year. I bought the Clutch and a LUK Clutch Kit brand new. The LUK Clutch is a replacement. Have receipts for both. I can add photos later if there is any interest. Pictures are just going to show a used clutch... but pictures are awesome I guess. The kit cost me 600$. The new replacement clutch was about 150$. Machining is about 50$.

What made you believe the flywheel needed machining with only 2 mi of use?

If I read correctly, it's the clutch kit which only has 2 miles on it, and the FW was used with a different clutch kit previously. Hence my question several posts up (how many miles the FW has).

Good point, didn't read it that way and missed your question also. Does machining a flywheel effect anything in terms of height of the surface?

Flywheel had I think 20,000 - 30,000ish mi. Can put up an exact # later, but it is in that ball park. The machining of the flywheel barely affects the engagement of the setup. In fact you would never be able to tell if done correctly. That is reliant on how precise the machine shop can keep the tolerances to the step height of 7.5mm +/- 0.1mm. But yes theoretically the flywheel loses overall height. I explained my engagement issues to several guys and they all said machine the flywheel and get new clutch kit. Clutch kit was put on an S4 that blew up in 2mi. So yeah. I magically gained a new clutch kit for the RA4 that I lost interest in. Moved on to better and greater things.

Still have it. I would have to get new flywheel to crank bolts as I used them in a recent rebuild. Part # N90665001.
