    Hit my head...

When I bought my S6 a week ago, I also planned to cross shop the S7. My problem was that I could not get the seat low enough not to have my head in constant contact with the ceiling. Perhaps if the sunroof was not their, I would not have an issue but it instantly ruled me out of the car. I am only 6'2" but have 36" sleeve length. Trust me, I tried leaning the seat way back and could not find a way to have a proper fit and keep my head off the ceiling 100% of the time.

I have never seen this brought up but am surprised that other folks have not found the same issue.

    Anyone else?

Isn't the A6 and A7 headroom the same in the front? I though it was only different in the rest.

I'm 6'3 and have a 36" sleeve length. My A7 is the most comfortable car I've ever owned except for our A8L. I'm surprised at your assessment.

One's overall height does not really tell whether your hair or head will will brush up or hit the headliner or not. I know people from other forums who are the same height (6' 3") but they don't have any issues fitting in an A7. Arm length does not necessarily indicate that your torso is longer or shorter. For the OP, I suspect that his torso is long that's why his head is hitting the headliner or ceiling.

True. I am taller in Torso. Perhaps that is it. I brought up tht 36/37 sleeve length for the purposes of explaining I could not simultanously keep my head off the cieling and reach the wheel at the same time. I have never had an issue in a car but as much as I love the S7, it did not fit. If the glove does not fit, you must...

The difference in headroom between the vehicles is a quarter of an inch. I can't believe that small amount was such a difference maker. Something seems odd - maybe comfort seat vs sport seat?

And I'm a long torso'd 6'3", and have no difficulties with headroom in the 7. I am light on hair, however, so maybe that's the difference maker. Finally a benefit to MPB!

Well, I hit my head in my A8L... but I think that's because I just did something retarded.

Things will still happen, and we will still hit our heads no matter how much older we are...

I'm taller than you ( 193 cm ) and drive S7. My advice is to you, trie S7 without sunroof, i't s a stupid thing that adds weight to your car and takes away like 2-3 cm of head room on Audis.
And also go for the comfort seats instead of sport ones, they will also give you more room in the front!

I don't believe Audi sells any cars in the US that don't have sunroofs and leather.

Looked far and wide, and could not find a car with more legroom and acceptable headroom than my 2016 Prestige A6. I do have to watch my head getting in and out of the car, but am comfortable once in place. BTW 6'7", 37" sleeve size, and 36" inseam. Have to watch hitting my head all the time.
