I pulled this engine out of my new B7 shortly after buying it so I could swap the built engine in from my totaled B7. It's got just over 70k miles on it and is completely stock except for the Bosch tri-electrode plugs (<500 miles on these plugs). I noticed zero oil consumption in the roughly 1k miles I drove the car with this engine in it. The cam lobe is in great shape also. This is the perfect replacement for a blown motor or a candidate for an engine build to minimize downtime on your car. There is what I would call average carbon build up on the intake valves. You could easily clean it before installation or even just install as is and run it. With the exception of the snub mount, pcv, and coilpacks, everything shown on the engine is included. Asking $2000 obo.






Shipping is entirely at the expense of the buyer. This includes cost of materials to crate the engine. I would expect up to $300-$400 max for lower 48, but I can give an exact quote prior to purchase.

I could also potentially build this engine for someone if they wanted to go that route. Obviously, the price would go up depending on what you want done.

I can vouch for this motor as I've owned it since 14 miles and up until I sold it to Adam with 69,556 miles. I've always changed the oil at 5k intervals and the cam follower every 2 oil changes. I can also honestly report that I've never had any issues with oil consumption. Feel free to send me a PM with any questions/concerns on the history of this motor.
