I started the car after such a long time, and sensed a sweet coolant smell coming from the Front Driver Side Between Engine & Radiator. The bottom of my oil pan is a bit moist; used a paper towel and noticed the color pink---indicating coolant leak. Hoses look satisfactory to me, the smell is concentrated between radiator and engine (particularly driver side--near one of the main hoses feeding into the radiator). Can the leak coming from one of the radiator hoses?
The water pump (and presumably gasket) was replaced last year at the same time when getting the timing belt changed. It would be shocking "if" the shop did not change out all the gaskets and seals; they can never prove it to you if they did unless you, the owner, got to the timing belt area yourself.
Where should I start in terms of diagnosis?
Thanks
