    Hi guys

Just put new pads on my brakes and the slide pins were very hard to move. They weren't seized but i had to pry between the rotor and the caliper to move the pin.
Shouldn't these pins move easily by hand? Anybody experience this while changing their pads?

Did you lube them up when reinstalling?

I wouldn't be too concerned about them being hard to remove if that's the first time you've done a brake job on the car. I'd be more concerned that they move freely after you've reinstalled them.

Nah i didn't lube them up at all actually. This is the first time I've done the brakes. It was done once at 60k an now I'm at 86k. I can't move them with my hand but i can move them when i use a pry bar between the rotor and the caliper.
