Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Black carbon list - $1,345... Intro pricing - $1,195 plus ship

Red Kevlar list - $1,595... Intro pricing - $1,435 plus ship

These should hit the US in 3 weeks, and this pricing will end 11/18.

Slam panels will not be too far behind, and engine covers will likely be built as well.

Hit me up to pre-order at [email protected]

Power gains: 22hp 34ft-lb Mid-range and 17hp Peak RPM : Power was measured back to back with the stock airbox on a car with stage 3 map and pulley upgrade. To be clear, the car had the map and pulley for both the stock airbox and the Eventuri:

    Component photos:

This is a fully sealed intake system which has a dual cold air inlet so solves 2 issues - de-restricted airlfow and low IATs.

An integral part of the design is the carbon duct which seals the filter to the cold air feed:

With the additional carbon scoop at the front, this channels cold air into the filter for IAT values to rival the stock system. With the Patent Pending Venturi Housing, the airlfow remains laminar and able to move as it would in an open system so you get the best of both Worlds.

Here is a short video of how it looks and sounds:

All the carbon components are made from high quality Prepreg carbon fibre.

Out of my budget but sweet product!

Any comparisons to rival "open" style intakes?

Price gave me a real chuckle but this intake's fluid flow design does appear to be excellent - plus this has CAI benefits. I believe Roc Euro's reign of supremacy is over.

I do pity the fool who spends over $1000 on an intake though haha

Sweet for sure! Hoping it'll mount up to the SQ.

I'm not sure, but I'll ask Eventuri. They're linked and following this thread.

Pricey for sure, but these are top shelf items, and the yield is pretty darn good :) The F80 and RS5 guys cannot get enough of them.

Looking at the pic of all the parts, it looks like they include a secondary air filter and mounting bracket. Based on the length of the bracket, I'm guessing it mounts lower than with other intakes....

Looks cool. If I can talk a local into it, I'll dyno it with an ECS or Roc-Euro as the comparison....

Damn I was excited for this but the price is crazy. Not really surprised by the price but I'm curious as to how well this will sell to the B8 community. The F80 and RS5 guys spent around 80k on their cars and most of them have more money to throw around. That red Kevlar/carbon is the exact same as my interior trim too... ;(

Interesting they build a scoop extender. I made way years ago out of aluminum, guess that further proves my concept. Cost a hell of a lot less also.

Just like anything else, you place your larger spend where it's most important whether it be wheels, shoes, watches, tech etc. Everything cost what they do for a reason. And we all know top quality carbon parts are expensive. Hell, even a valence can run $780-$1,500. For years, many have complained that BMW guys get all of the good stuff. Well, here ya go!

Not disagreeing with anyone here. I'm not one to drop $10K on a watch, or $500 on shoes, but I'll drop $6,000 on wheels and not even flinch haha!

Thanks for the input! And yea, the RS5 guys had to fork over ~$2,500 for admission.

Goes to an opening that routes behind the fog lamp on the passenger side. The stock airbox actually has a similar setup, although it's not used in the US and there's actually OEM duct parts for it.

Just to chime in as I have mentioned on the S5 section:

I can understand the concerns with pricing but I assure you we don't "tax" our systems based on the car we design for. It is purely down to the fact that we use 100% pre-preg carbon fibre and the number of carbon pieces in the kit. In this system there are 4 individual carbon parts of which the duct is a complex shape to make.

For instance - high quality pre-preg carbon fibre diffuser/splitter/spoilers don't come cheap!

Any chance you make a rotomold-plastic version of this piece for those more interested in price than form?

Rotomold part cost would be low but the tooling cost is very high. To justify that we would need to be selling hundreds of these systems!

The great thing about our systems is that they retain a high residual value when people change cars for example and sell them on. This is due to the fact that other than the high quality aspect, we don't do mass production and only a select few dealers sell them.

Dual pulley is great and would compliment these further! Higher demand from the supercharger benefits from a more efficient way to breath!

still need dyno result from back-to-back with other air intake out there, not just the stock air box. We all know an air intake produce more HP/Torque than the stock box, nothing hew here :)

Not all intakes make the same power and torque 😜

I'd love to see some dyno runs done with the bonnet closed on other intakes as we did with ours and some owners taking data logs and road tests with our system.

If I'm spending $1,000+ on an intake, I will expect more than 22 HP gains. A Stage 1/2 etc. is similarly priced and much higher gains.

And if this car already had Stage 3 map/pulley, then you would be nuts to pay an EXTRA $1000 on an intake for only...22HP...

If apr charges over $2000 for their new product that produces ~40hp over current dual pulley setup I'm running, I would go for this intake.
When you are already stage 2 or dual pulley, the incremental $/hp ratio can be a lot higher than stock.

No one is buying this intake solely because of the power gains. While I think it's likely that the Eventuri makes more power than other intakes on the market, the difference is unlikely to justify the price difference versus your typical $300-$400 CTS/Roc/ECS intake for most buyers...

It's the beautiful carbon pieces and design that make the price what it is. It's a premium product, and is priced as such.

Again - this product is not about making power. Its about buying a high quality well built piece that looks fantastic and provides additional power gains.

Hey Eventuri - if you make a version that supports APR's ultracharger - I'm in.

I really don't get the confusion Hayden ;) Purchasing is an option. Just appreciate the efforts made.

This is just like spending $600 on an FRP diffuser vs $1,250 on carbon, except the carbon intake actually serves a purpose, and performance gains are realized. That aside, just like one would drop huge money for an exterior carbon piece, some like to dress up the engine bay.

The slam panel is not too far behind, and possibly the engine covers.

Wondering if anyone purchased this intake, and if so how do they like it? Also I'm guessing if there is not a significant amount of sales on intake then eventuri will be in no hurry to design slam panel and/or engine cover. I'm kinda surprised so little interest, despite pricing, as the rs intake had such a good rally with the initial group buy and the holy shit package soon followed.
