Clicking sound under engine cover when engine turned off and spinning down

I have this strange clicking sounds that seems like its coming from just under the front drivers side portion of the engine cover. I don't hear anything when the car is running but when i turn off the engine and everything spins down there is a clicking sound as everything comes to a stop. I don't see any belts or pulleys spinning at the time and it almost sounds like electrical relays clicking but it sounds like the frequency slows as everything comes to a stop. Then one last click as everything shuts down that sounds like it come from somewhere near the back of the alternator. Anybody have a clue what this could be?

It sounds like this is definitely something related to A/C. I tried turning off the A/C well before I turned the car off and when the car is turned off there is no noise.

I just had the a similar sound that was A/C related, the radiator cooling fan on the drivers side was loose on the electric motor shaft, the blades were clicking on the radiator fins. Of course I found it after it had rubbed a hole in the radiator. I ended up replacing the fan and the radiator.
