Eventuri 3.0 S5 Carbon Intakes for Pre-Order - Intro pricing special

Some info Eventuri just pushed over

Power gains: 22hp 34ft-lb Mid-range and 17hp Peak RPM : Power was measured back to back with the stock airbox on a car with stage 3 map and pulley upgrade. To be clear, the car had the map and pulley for both the stock airbox and the Eventuri:

    Component photos:

This is a fully sealed intake system which has a dual cold air inlet so solves 2 issues - de-restricted airlfow and low IATs.

An integral part of the design is the carbon duct which seals the filter to the cold air feed:

With the additional carbon scoop at the front, this channels cold air into the filter for IAT values to rival the stock system. With the Patent Pending Venturi Housing, the airlfow remains laminar and able to move as it would in an open system so you get the best of both Worlds.

Here is a short video of how it looks and sounds:

All the carbon components are made from high quality Prepreg carbon fibre.

I would highly consider one of these, especially if they would do an adaptation for the new Throttle body upgrade that APR is doing. The only modification would be the length of the intake tube.

To do this we would have to design a new tube and we would need at least 10 people on board to justify the new tooling and design work required.

Is there a link to more details on this upgrade?

I can understand the concerns with pricing but I assure you we don't "tax" our systems based on the car we design for. It is purely down to the fact that we use 100% pre-preg carbon fibre and the number of carbon pieces in the kit.

For instance - high quality pre-preg carbon fibre diffuser/splitter/spoilers don't come cheap!

I was going to ask about the stage 3 map on the dyno'd car, but I see it says stage 2 on the dyno chart. So I'll assume that's a typo. Aren't those dyno flywheel numbers a bit weak?

Not knocking the intake, it's obviously the nicest one on the market for our cars. And that dyno gain is amazing.

The dyno we use here is a Dyno Dynamics which is known to show lower figures than for example a Dyno Jet. However it's the difference in the two runs we are more interested in rather than the absolute number itself.

I absolutely agree, the difference is the point, and it's very impressive.

Excellent work on this Eventuri. Love your intake designs.

The release of the new throttle body update isn't until the end of the month. I'm betting we won't have 10 people committed on a new design until all details are out - plus you don't have all the necessary info for development. I really love the intake, but will probably wait until what APR releases is considered.

Once their update gets released, there wont be much option in terms of intake so you guys would definitely look appealing to many I'm sure.
