SQ5 21" Wheels

Anyone running them on the A6 S-Line with sport suspension? If so are any spacers necessary? Any rubbing and what tire size?

You will need at least a 5mm spacer to clear the front caliper. Might be able to get away with 3mm but it'll be close.

First pic is stock C7.5 sport suspension with 8mm F/R spacers. Second is with Stasis Touring Springs with 10mm F/R spacers. Similar angle for comparison sake.

Love it. What tires and size are you running? Any close up pics of the clearance? How's the ride compared to the 20 reps you were running?

If my math is correct (which it probably isn't) running 8mm spacers is equivalent to a 35 offset on a 20x9?

I've had the car for a month so never 20s on the A6 but I have on the S5 and the ride isn't much worse with 21s. SQ5 wheels are 21x8.5 et33 + 8mm spacer would bring the final offset to et25 or equivalent to et31 on 20x9. I'm running 255/30/21 Michelin PSS with 10mm all around for final et23 on 8.5 wheel and it's dead on flush with the fenders. No rubbing what so ever at less then 1 finger gar all around. 255/30/21 is identical to stock 255/35/20 and 255/40/19 in terms of outside diameter.

Thanks for the info. One more question, what % tint and brand? That's a clean, sporty but subtle, OEM looking ride you have there man. You'll be seeing a similar one in black soon .

Probably not since they're 8.5" wide. I actually don't think there's another C7 that's running those period.

Tint is 50% ceramic and for the life of me I can't think of the brand at the moment. It's dark enough to reduce some heat and not have the car look like a fish bowl. I have gone with 20% on a few cars in the past and always ran into tickets. Don't feel like dealing with any of that this time, yet it still looks quite dark on a partly cloudy day.
