    Help with injector adaptor

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hi guys

I have a 2T Audi A4 2005.5 with stock 06F906036A injectors. I incorrectly purchased BOSCH 0261500247 / VOLKSWAGEN 06L906036L upgrades however I am confident that I can use these if I get an electrical adaptor. I don't want to permanently change the connector thus the adaptor idea.

    The old style:

    The new style:

Can someone point me to the connector style (e.g. EV1 or something) of each so I can arrange an adaptor? Also if you think this wont work, please let me know why.

    Cheers boys.

I dont think this will work well, 06L906036L probably wont have the correct spray pattern for our engines. Look at the difference in tips.

The shape of the injector body is different between the two. You'll need to get your head machined in order to install them. Electrical should just be splicing wires.

Actually if I remember right the body was the same size, its just the plug and the injector head that goes into the fuel rail that might be different.

The new rs4 injectors might be a better idea. EPY installed them and had swaped the connectors. I believe they fit without machine work. Just the wire connectors.

Id like to confirm this somehow, as I have them and wiring is not an issue, particularly if I can get an adaptor. Any clues besides removing manifold etc.?

You would have to measure the injector bodies out if the car. Or if someone has a set out have them measure the stock ones or s3 ones and then measure yours
