    Question Amber reflector delete + VCDS

    Now that I've got your attention, can anyone help me figure out how to turn these stupid ambers off? I've searched forums, found vagcom codes, but nothing seems to work. The coding I used is as follows, but the lights are still active:

    Disable orange side markers in head lights
    09 - Central Electronics
    Adaptation - 10
    (6) Leuchte8FL LB39-Dimmwert AB 8 -> 0 (left headlight)
    (6) Leuchte9FL RB2-Dimmwert AB 9 -> 0 (right headlight)
    Defaults are 127

    In addition, I've tried to disable the winking lights using the following coding instructions, however I keep encountering an error that says "out of range" when I try to switch the parameters to non-active:

    DRLs stay on with turn signal
    09 - Central Electronics
    Adaptation - 10
    (8)-Leuchte2SL VLB10-Lichtfunktion C 2 -> "not active" (default "Blinken links aktiv (beide Phasen)")
    (8)-Leuchte4TFL LB4-Lichtfunktion C 4 -> "not active" (default "Blinken links aktiv (beide Phasen)")
    (8)-Leuchte3SL VRB21-Lichtfunktion C 3 -> "not active" (default "Blinken rechts aktiv (beide Phasen)")
    (8)-Leuchte5 TFL RB32-Lichtfunktion C 5 -> "not active" (default "Blinken rechts aktiv (beide Phasen)")

    Any insight that can be provided would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if there is an obvious location for the solution, but I've searched a bunch of different forums and can't seem to get a solid answer. Fairly new to the platform, had the car a month and it's all very different from my B8.5.

    Thanks,

    Alex

    only way to get ambers off is to unplug them or get ecodes. and throwing this out there, the LED lights dont wink and there is not way to change the signals. (if you have LED package)
