My B8 had trouble to start today..

Yesterday I noticed that it took a fraction of a second longer to start (no cold weather here in San Diego) but today it took to "cranks" for it to start which it have never happened in the 3 years that I have owned it. I'm guessing it's the battery that's is dying, I'm just hoping it's not the alternator. Any suggestions? I'll be taking to a shop today. I already looked trough search bar but I could not find anything related to it but powering additional accessories and the like.

The alternator doesn't kick in until the car is running. I'd put my money on the battery

Interesting you mention this because for the past week I've been having the same issue... It only happens when I'm leaving work, though. I park on a bit of an incline so I figured it was a weird fueling issue. Starter motor sounds like it's turning just fine.

It might be your injectors, this happened to me a few months ago. Do you smell any fuel while driving? The gaskets on my injectors cracked and we're letting balms fuel escape. Just replaced the gaskets. Everything was fine after. If not it might just be your battery. (Also in SD, if you need help let me know)

Oooh that's not good... I just had my injectors replaced a couple weeks ago.
