Lightbulb Electrical issues- no headlight out warning, and parktronic working sporadically

    Some strange issues.

Both of my headlights went out- it was the bulb, as I've replaced both and it's working now. Problem is, I never received a headlight out alert for either- I thought that B7's have a lamp out error indicator? Asking now also because I'd like to order this 4300k HID kit, and not having to buy error code eliminators will save some money, if it's not necessary.

Another strange problem. The car has parktronic(that is what the parking assist is called, right?), but hasn't been working in the 3+ months that I've owned the car until recently after I changed the spark plugs and coils, for some reason(coincidence perhaps). It just gives a long beep when putting the car in Reverse. Now it's working sporadically, but not always. I'm not even sure where to begin diagnosing this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The partronic issue with the long beep whe first put into reverse means theres a fault and it needs to be scanned to see whats going on.

Understood, will have to wait til I get a VAG COM cable to troubleshoot the Parktronic error.

Bump for the answer to the headlight question, please.

Don't get the aftermarket HID's, you will be disappointed with their output. Find some bi-xenon's or convert yours to bi-xenons. I had the same issue, but I think the dipped headlight is only for bi-xenon.
