    Room in hatch for dogs?

Kind of a strange question, but would two 90lbs dogs fit in the cargo space of an A7/S7? Or is the hatch glass snug against the rear seats? I don't suspect this to ever be an issue, but it'd be nice to have a backup solution if our Q5 was out of commission.

You might get a pair of Yorkshire Terriers in the back.

But the yapping will wish you had left them at home.

I just lay the back seats down, remove the hatch guards and my dog fits fine even with all our luggage on long road trips. Two dogs will be no problem in the back and you keep them off the seats when they are folded.

    What king of dog?

There is not much height for a large dog to stand back there.

I put my 170 pound Great Dane back there. He just has to watch his head as he jumps in, and just lay down while we're moving.

Take a A7 for a demo ride and test fit your dogs.
