I think you're right. The chrome buttons do tie in much better with your setup. I like it more than the all black on your car.

does he have the FL round style wheels yet?

So updates on my quest for what its worth.

From Poland communications are somewhat difficult- a lot of emails back and forth with a couple of guys and I am still not 100% that I can get a FL round wheel- FLY designs says yes, but he needs some code from the wheel, and my code doesn't match- I'm just not convinced given it about $750 for a new replacement from Audi, so not sure how he/they can make then for the price.

The more I see the carbon/alcantara the more I want.

I have priced at 3 US based companies, Nexon, Europrice and EuroBoutique- each supplier wants you to exchange the core and they are all in and around $1500/$2000. I have also found a guy in England who can source a used wheel, re-finish in leather/alcantara for about $800. He is looking to source a C/F fabricator to see if he can do the finish I want- Let's assume he can, that would double the price I am there or thereabout's on price, with added benefit if I can get from UK of having a core to sell to possibly recoup some of the outlay.

The curveball with one of the US suppliers is that they can manufacture almost complete custom and the thought of C/F flat top and bottom with alcantara is almost too much to pass up. See picture.

In the end I am resigned to drop somewhere in the region of $1500 for this mod which for something that you use every time you use the car is a mod, if got right, would be totally worth it IMHO. My primary concern is safety and comeback of anything goes wrong and euroboutique have my vote.

I wont however get the line, but pretty much this will be the wheel.

The carbon fiber wheels are always more from what I looked at. I don't have any in my S5 so I didn't really want that look. The Nexcon wheels really are beautiful tho.

Just so folks know, there is no need for a core return on the wheels offered through Europrice. Brand new wheels are used for the building process on any custom wheel and that is included in any pricing quoted.

The nice aspect of using a new wheel is that the paddles, controls, center trim and badge are brand new and not used as you find with core return programs.
