Anyone install APR Oil Catch can? 2015 S3

Has anyone installed their own APR oil catch can? I am having a tough time getting the stock PCV connection at the intake off of my 2015 S3. The connection rotates, but can't for the life of me figure out what the release is.

APR instructions say "Disconnect the fitting on the PCV hose that goes to the turbo inlet. Squeeze all sides of the fitting to help release the fitting." Yeah, that doesn't seem to work, the connector is rock solid and can't squeeze it at all.

Any help or suggestions is much appreciated! Else it's a trip to the local shop with a box of parts, albeit a small box...

It took me awhile to get that off, weird angle to pull on too as I wasn't trying to break anything. I used some channel locks to finally pull it off with some upwards force.

Thanks mroberte. I'll take a closer look this weekend. Might end up routing the catch can hoses and have a shop do the final connection at the turbo inlet. I am wary of breaking something...

    Like mroberte said.

Small pliers should help you out if its the fitting I am thinking about.

    Thanks,

I was going to get one but all I kept reading is how these things are useless on the TFSI. Alot of people have the same issue as you and the ones that do drain are draining water.
