Cost of 15k service for Q5 TDI, qouted $715.00?

I looked around and didn't see anyone posting what to expect to pay.

This includes changing the fuel, pollen and air filters, topping off fluids, oil change and filter and inspection.

While i have my $500.00 Audi TDI apology voucher to use towards this, does this sound high or normal for an Audi 15k service?

If you plan on keeping the car and not selling it back (if that becomes an option with the diesel scandal), use that $500 towards Audicare. Its 1200 bucks and you will get the 15,25,35, and 45 for free.

I can still buy Audicare two years after it was purchased?

Yes I would like to buy it out after the lease but have no idea what my options will be, what the car will be worth, if there is a fix and what incentives they would offer me to buy it outright.

The quote sounds pretty inflated but it's difficult to analyze its sanity without looking at the actual itemized service log and charges . Audi care is definitely worth the buy only as long as you plan keeping the car for at least 2-3 more services.


I paid 800$ for my care package but am pretty happy with it. the car went to service 2 times so far with regular service and 1-2 times more for other stuff ( bad wiper blades and leds) and the changed those out without a cent being charged.

A direct quote from the service manager at my dealership:

"From what I can see it appears that the 15k according to Audi should be $838 with tax included."

A complete an utter rip off and the reason I do my own service.

you can buy Audicare before/during your 15K, but not after I believe. Its $1169 for the TDI, less for the other Q5s.
