    Golf r shocks fit a3??

Would 2016 Golf R shocks work on a 2016 A3 with S3 springs? I'm trying for an OEM setup and I understand you may recommend aftermarket for performance but I would like to know if anyone has insight into the compatibility. It looks like aftermarket shocks are spec'd for all MBQ models with IRS but I'm trying to avoid unforseen issues. Thank you for your help.

Doesn't the Golf R have the VW-equivalent of mag ride?

If not, I don't see why they wouldn't fit as the A3, S3, Golf, GTI, and Golf R all use the same aftermarket shocks.

Audi and VW seem to use different numbers for everything, so how do I go about doing this?

Yes they fit, same platform, only difference in some cases is spring rates. I'd compare those more than anything.

The magnetic shocks on the R function differently than the ones in the S3.
