Audi A3 8P OBD II port location?

Hi guys,

Just wondering where the OBD port is on an A3 8P 2010. I have seen it under the steering wheel on the right side, but I can't seem to find it.

Also wondering what cable I can use to connect to the OBD port? I see some on eBay for $50 but then there are some that are $250, just wondering what the differences are and if its worth getting the $250 one.
